Academic justifies 'Darwin's Doubt'

This lecture summarises Dr Axe's challenging book, 'Undeniable', in which he promotes 'intuition' as more reliable than many scientists admit; and he gives mathematical and other research evidence, which dismiss the theory of evolution as genuinely unworkable in the light of his findings.

Nabeel Qureshi's journey to faith in Jesus Christ

Nabeel sketches how his reasons for confidence in Islam did not bear up under critical scrutiny to the same standard of academic rigour that the New Testament's claims for Jesus Christ being God, can withstand.

His books are: Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus; No God but One, and Answering Jihad.

David Wood is the 'David' in Nabeel Qureshi's testimony. Nabeel fell asleep in Jesus on 17th September, 2017, after a battle with cancer, but his testimony lives on to point others to the Saviour of the world, Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

John 3

¹⁶ For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

¹⁷ For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

¹⁸ He that believes on him is not condemned: but he that believes not is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

¹⁹ And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

²⁰ For every one that does evil hates the light, neither comes to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

²¹ But he that does truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

David Wood's journey to faith in Jesus Christ

David was a confident atheist until a Christian that he met in prison began to challenge his assumptions about the origin of life. Thoughts of violence and violent actions were acceptable to him under his negative, unfeeling worldview, until he realised that Jesus Christ was a better man than he.

A brief history of the Quran

David Wood and Nabeel Qureshi refer to Islam's own trusted sources to challenge the 'standard narrative' taught to Muslims, that the Quran's words are eternal, spoken by Allah through an angel to Muhammad and are 'perfectly preserved' through fouteen centuries, 'word for word, letter for letter'.

And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

1 Timothy 3 v 16

And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached to the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

2 Timothy 3 vv 16, 17

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect [complete], thoroughly furnished [equipped and prepared] to all good works.

John 3

¹⁴ And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: ¹⁵ that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

¹⁶ For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

¹⁷ For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

¹⁸ He that believes on him is not condemned: but he that believes not is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

²⁰ For every one that does evil hates the light, neither comes to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

²¹ But he that does truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest [clearly seen], that they are wrought in God.
